Lincolns in the movies and TV

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

I thought that car looked familiar. It's even more of a hodge podge of years than it first appears. The rear is definitely '65 and the front is '61. The side glass is '64-'65, as are the wheel covers. The interior dash looks like '64. (I don't see the clock reset stem in the front which would signify '65). The upholstery sew pattern is looks like '68 or '69, except for the door panels which are '64-'65,

Was watching Canada's Worse Driver last night. If you don't know it's a show about really bad drivers and how the try to teach them how to handle a car properly. They usually end up wrecking a bunch of cars. Well last night they had a 1960 Lincoln Premiere that started getting smashed up but thankfully the engine quit before it got totaled. such a shame

Watched Saving Mr. Banks today. '61 front, '65 taillamps, odd rear seat - it kind of looks like a convertible with the big dip in the center of the seatback, or bucket backs... no real good views of the inside. Weird stars on the sail panels - no ring, just the star. I am not real familiar with the early cars or the service cars so this may be just the way they were...

I really don't care about originality, it's still a cool car in a relatively cool story!

Found a couple not in the movies, but in a TV show - Archer. Yes, it's animated, but it's still cool to see a couple of 60s Lincolns. If I had to guess, I'd say a 1962! :D

They even got some of the little details correct like the clear turn signal lamps!

Walking Dead

Beth and Daryl just made it through the night "bonding" with peach schnapps and moonshine in the trunk of 90s Lincoln Town Car. Protected from the "Walkers" and plenty of room for, well, whatever.....Season 4, Episode 12. Gotta love a big trunk.

looks like a Mark V to me. The Continental looks like a 72 with the bumper guards. Actually the 72 im sure off.

November 29, 2015 on Decades TV network showing Mission Impossible reruns all weekend, I caught eye of episode with an unusual plot to steal platinum from someone (probably bad). They damaged their 1967 Lincoln, stole the platinum, melted it down, and cast it into grille pieces to drive away with the platinum in plain sight.

It was a dark blue or black sedan. Hard to tell.

Only a Lincoln could be used to get away with a plan like this. A modern car doesn't have enough chrome any more!

Here are the screenshots I took of the TV.

There's a film noir of the 50s that does exactly that but with gold and a 49? Cadillac. I wish I could remember the name of it.

Maybe "The Solid Gold Cadillac" 1956 with Judy Holiday and Paul Douglas?

And i just noticed the headlamp doors are 66, not 67, in those Mission Impossible Pics. The grille is 67, for sure.

Chad, no not that one. It was a black and white picture, they stole the gold and cast new bumpers for the car, pretty sure it was a 49, maybe later Cadillac. I've looked on IMDB with no luck. Can't even remember who was in it.
