Rode in my first Skoda today

Post by Stuart M. Cohen »

So the tour guide we used today had a nice 4 door Skoda sedan. We sat in the back, and it was really roomy. Didn't get a picture of it, but here is one we saw parked in the street. Lot's of different models.

I initally thought they were Russian, but thanks to Google, found out they are Czech. Would stll like to have one in the US, but alas, still no room at the inn.....

Will try to grab a picture of the sedan I was in.

From clues in that picture, I’m going to guess you are in Warsaw.
1930 A Coupe
1941 LC Coupe
1968 XR-7 (my great-grandfather’s)
1962 LC Sedan (owned 35 years & driven 100k+ myself)

So we've been in eastern Europe since June 27. I've seen a ton of European/Asian brands as well as Fords and Jeeps. Today I saw my first GM product, other than a vinage 80's Cadillac. Very strange; guess GM doesn't command a large portion of the eastern Europe market.
