1970 mark iii mirror glass

New to forums. Helping son with his first car. Starting with something simple.

Wondering if the mirror glass can be replaced (it's missing) can it simply be glued onto the contacts or if there's some special bit I should be aware of.

Contact local or online glass replacement shops that also do mirrors and see if they either have a pattern or can make one for you.
