Swaybar bushings and end links: Just do it

Post by MFE »

I don't expect these cars to corner like they're on rails, but the body roll in corners with my car was borderline embarrasing. I swapped out the bushings and the end links, neither of which is a difficult job, and it made a nice, noticeable improvement.

The job is most easily accomplished with the front end on ramps or with the suspension otherwise supported at the same ride height on both sides. The old bushings will need to be cut off, which is no big deal. Replace one bushing at a time. The end links and their bushings can be changed without even removing the wheels. Nothing more than common hand tools required for the whole job.
