I installed it a week or so ago.

Please, my TLFers, try it and tell me what you think.

So the link brings me to the user control panel but I don't know where this drop down menu item is.

Is the Prime format easier for the Admin to maintain or is it simply a graphic treatment?

Yep you're right I switched it over and now I's stuck with it. It seems to operate exactly the same but the text box seems a little bit smaller that the original version.

Nope that drop down menu is missing in the new style.

If it not broke don't fix it. Old saying but true, the current template seems to work, people are comfortable with it, they know where to find things, so what would be the advantage of changing?

I don't know about other people but I use a couple of particular web sites and visit them on an almost daily basis, being able to find what I'm looking for quickly is based on familiarity with the page so that I can read the updates and get on with other things.

If there are real advantages to the template then it may be worth changing.

Sorry, but the old template IS changing. It's broken and was never fixed. It's time to move on.I think the forum needs a new look.

OK it fits the criteria for change, it is broken and can not be fixed.

What can we do to help? And keep up the good work.

The only thin I noticed is that there is too much of the blue border around the sides. For me, this means less space to see the type and I'd need to increase the size of the font. No major issue, but just what I noticed. Don't let that stop you from changing, but maybe there's a way to reduce the borders.

I'd like to see a screenshot of yours, Stu, because I have less border now than before (unless you were using the "WIDE" version of the previous template which had no border at all. Prime has a proportional border which is great even on my crappy, low-res work display. It looks great on my iPad and iPhone.

I'd like somebody who knows CSS and HTML to step up and offer to make tweaks. I just don't have the time to figure it out.

Well as you know Dan I'm switched over to the new template and I find that it won't keep me logged in. I check the box to automatically log me in on each visit yet now I must log in every time I visit the site.

I'm not having this issue on any of the devices I use (although my iPhone logs me out all the time, but I think that's cause I use private browsing). Try clearing site cookies. You might want to delete them in your browser, too (or do some kind of reset).

I don't know everything. I just work here.
