This area is for members to post Lincoln-related automotive items for sale or trade (help the buyer find you!). Auction links are allowed. Where to find classic Lincolns for sale

Post by Dan Szwarc »

This thread is for people to post links to sites that people can search for cars for sale.

eBay-related
http://www.eBaymotors.com
http://www.loottap.com

Craigslist and CL-Related search tools
http://www.Craigslist.org or use google and craigslist site-wide by typing site:craigslist.org 19XX Lincoln, etc. into the Google search bar. Sometimes you have to whittle through removed ads, and other junk, but it searches EVERY CL city in one click.
http://www.adhuntr.com (which searches all of craigslist)[/quote]

Here's a consolidation of a bunch of other sites:

http://www.autotempest.com Searching a TON of places with simple clicks.

And, like it or not, use it or not, Facebook's search bar also searches a bunch of stuff, too.

Add a link to other sites if you find them. I will edit this post so all links are posted within this message.

I used http://www.loottap.com to find mine. It saves your search for you.

And it finds cars? It looks like a redundant search for eBay.

Just in case some may not know:
One thing that I have noticed is that Craigslist works like Ebay in searching, rather than inputting each year, if you put in an astrick it works as a wild car. 196* Lincoln or 6* Lincoln will bring up all Lincolns from 1960 to 1969, or '60-69 listings.

It works in E-bay Motors, but not in regular E-bay any more.

ebay seems to be doing everything it can to make EVERYTHING come up when you search, meaning you get nothing but unrelated CRAP.

I noticed using ? as a wildcard works for CL.

Here's a tip that I just learned from another forum member. Instead of searching for "1964 Lincoln Continental", which yields over 5,500 results, with all the "crap", use "1964 Lincoln Continental -fits", which yields a lot fewer results at just over 550.
The downside now is that you can't use a wild card for the year like you used to be able to.

I use that "-" system for -nuts,-bolts, -kits, etc.

What does "fits" take out of the search?

Take a look at this page. Notice all the nuts, bolts, grommets etc. auctions that say "fits 1964 Lincoln Continental".
