Calling all 61 Owners, Vin # & production date question

Details such as correct colors, plating material, inspection marks, orientation, and even the number of wipes that should occur for a vacuum-powered windshield wiper system after pushing the "wash" button.

This data plate belongs to a Lincoln Continental sedan that has been sitting in a Dallas backyard for 40 years.

thanks John! I am not a LCOC member but would like to check it out.
My cars are more or less barn cars. I do get them out and drive them when I can.

Hi, I bought Mikey's '61 Honey Beige sedan and the numbers are shown below:

The really strange thing is that the serial number is actually 1Y82H417835 yet the build sheet the Mikey posted from this car in January of 2014 indicates the serial number as 1Y82H417837. Could the factory have made a mistake or substituted another few cars on the line???? I noticed also that the scheduled build date moved one day from the build sheet to the data plate. I'd love to know the answer. See below:

I have both cars listed in my database. 835 is listed in your name and 837 in Mickey"s.
The build sheet shows the rust marks from seat springs. Maybe the factory mixed up the seats and put 837's seat in the 835 car.

It is Sheffield Gray.
It would be interesting to know how many convertibles were produced in the first 376 cars?
