So I have some good news about my shop situation. My neighbor has finally agreed to sell me the shop. So we have been cleaning, organizing and selling stuff. I've been painting and getting the place looking good. Here are some renderings of my plans for the shop.

This is off topic, but I thought I would post some pictures of the chopper that took a lot of my time last year away from the Lincoln. It's not really my style size and shape wise, but what he wanted. I hand built the frame, oil tank, bars, mounts etc. I painted it with house of Color candy burble over silver base with bunch of skulls and flames.

Congrats on both the upcoming shop and recent bike. Both look amazing!
But realize you posted this late on a work night (for most folks) and you can pretty much assume anyone not on the west coast is in bed. Give people a chance to read and respond and I'm sure they will be as impressed with the bike and jealous of the shop as I.

Thanks Ken, was a little grumpy last night. I'm very happy to be back working on the Lincoln and sharing what I learn and what I've done here on the best forum around.

Syko, I hear ya. Bikes not my style either. Dude spend like $30k in parts before it came to me. So had to work with the geometry I was given.

I'm not even into motorcycles at all, but you can tell when someone has spent a lot of time and money on something. This bike definitely looks to be one of them. Nice job!

The bike looks awesome, built a few like it when I had my cycle shop, I understand the amount of labor and frustration trying to get everything from 20 different venders to line up and look right. There's a lot of cussing in custom builds, but the choppers were not my style either, I like em low and stocky. I know we are all ready to see some new pics of that Lincoln.

I think the bike is sweet! The majority of custom bikes that I see just do not flow and look right. The bars will be too big or the gas tank doesn't fit the overall design of the bike. This bike flows pretty good!

Well crap, another year has gone by. Where the hell did 2014 go. My account I guess got deleted for lack of posting. so I had to start a new account. Guess I'm a newbie again.
Come hell or high water I am going to finish this car in 2015. Been working hard the last few days fixing some old problems. After installing the trunk seal I found that no matter what I did to adjust the trunk, the fill panel between the trunk and the back seat was just to low. So I cut out the panel which was a actual "flipper" panel from a donor vert. This time I just made a new panel out of 18 gauge steel. I was able to make a real nice flanged edge up against the trunk using my Pullmax. I had to make a small angle piece and create an offset shape to fit nicely up against the factory fill trim between the panel and the seat. Welded it all in tonight and it looks really good this time, nice and flush with the trunk. I'm planning to get lots done in the next two weeks I have off. I have committed to myself to not take on anyone else's projects in 2015. so besides kids, work and travel sports. We should see some real progress.
