Help: Two terms I have seen on this site...

This forum is for discussion of those terms we see in car ads and articles that can be misleading, misunderstood, or misused. The goal is to arrive at definitions we all can agree upon.

Help: Two terms I have seen on this site...

Post by 1965Original »

... that I can't figure out.

The first is DUW... as in work in progress DUW.

The other's BOF... as in, well, I can't remember where I saw this one now.

I am sure it will be a head slapper when someone enlightens me, but for now, I am stumped.

Thanks

BOF is Body-on-frame, opposite of unibody.

There's one down...

I found it: DUW means Dial Up Warning. It means that there are lots of pics.

I have to search the internets to find it. I've never seen it before either.

Since you make the post Dan, can you enable youtube videos embedded in the posts on this board? A few of the other car sites I visit will allow live youtube user posts... just wondering.
