I just wanted to provide an update on the manual status...it is done! I've sent a hard copy to John Bailey for review. Unless he recommends major changes, I would see it being published by the first of the year. As more information becomes available, I will post. Stay tuned...

I'm nearly as anxious to done with it! It was a great learning experience, but I spent more hours on the manual than I did with the cars the past few years. Next summer is play time!

Rob,

Please be assured that your efforts are VERY MUCH appreciated. I am so thankful that someone was finally able to finish this puppy off. We need it, and the timing could NOT be better; I'm just getting started on re-assembling my convertible.

Rob,

Thanks! This is a huge task and we all appreciate the work you've done. I'm looking forward to announcing the completion at the board meeting in Houston in January. I guess we can change the motto from "Do you want speed or accuracy?" to "A job done well is worth waiting for.".

Thanks again.

Does that mean we can start fixing the 66-69 manual too? There are a lot of mistakes and omissions.

Sure. Start now and by the time your kids get to college, it will be done!

?

Or, we can concentrate on working the problems...the '61-'63 is done thanks to a lot of hard work by Rob and others, the '66-'69 needs a tuneup, Dan, get to work...I'm sure Stu will be glad to help out with getting coffee, paperclips and copies.

We really need to change the title of this thread!

Last week, I sent the final copy of the manual to Nubs Schactner and he will be advising me when the manual is ready. At that time, I will post how to order the manual. I would anticipate it will be after the holidays...

Rob,

WHEN I get mine ordered, can I send it to you for you to autograph it for me?!?

Don't take this the wrong way, but "I love you, man!!"
