I have bought a number of things from Rock Auto, and they were always fast, name brand stuff, and at great prices. Only problem I had was an order that something did not fit, they sent out the correct one right away, and told me to keep the old one (inexpensive item). Would definitely do business with them again.

I just placed a large gasket order and used the coupon. It's good for 5% off. It helps reduce the cost of shipping.

Rock Auto's prices are pretty damn good and are quite lower than Napa's Online store (my next alternative). Considering I didn't have to pay sales tax (6%), I guess I saved around 20 to 30 dollars. The items shipped the next day, but I have not received them yet (it's been two days).

Just letting you all know that the "discount number quoted above" still works.

I have just ordered the timing chain and gears today.

Serously, I've had great experiences with them. I've probably made at least seven purchases from them, maybe more. For cars ranging from my '64 LCC to my wife's Windstar. They even saved my bacon when I made a mistake on my order. I am very happy with Rock Auto.

NOTE: The code expires every 2 months, so you need to get the new number each time you order. Also, you need to ASK if the number you have is good.

Just placed an order and gave them a number. Didn't realise they expired, and the guy never told me. Called, and they told me that once it ships, too late. Gave them the new number and all was well.

Dan, who is responsable for getting the code? I see the newest one was posted by someone; do they work for Rock Auto?
