Gary the PBA was used on the Lincolns(58-60) which you probably know and some Mecrurys as well probably.
I knew that the early TURBO Single- Range (I still need to research this one model more as I feel -no documentation- that it was actually the MERC-O-MATIC of the period) and the newly introduced TWIN-TURBO late in the 1958 model run were (was) the early LX. I thought the LX was also used on the 58/60 MERC models as the PARKLANE (and I have since found some documentation).
I was involved in a discussion recently at SQUAREBIRDS and one poster (most knowledgeable) entered a post saying that the 59/60 BIRD 430 used the LX also. I responded (incorrectly) that both the FE and MEL BIRD used the MX. After some more technical posts, it was proven the 430 BIRD does use the LX (PBB) whereas the 352 received the MERC-O-MATIC.
