Real wire wheels for '68 continental

This area is for those who need help modernizing their Lincoln for purposes other than strict restoration. Such questions can be about adding an electric fuel pump, adding fuel injection, boosting horsepower or gas mileage, or tightening or lowering the suspension. Body customizing and chopping can also be here (although this practice is not encouraged by the LCOC).

I would like to put on a nice set of "old style" (30-50 spoke) wire wheels on my '68 any recommendations?

I can only recommend that you verify that the car's weight can be supported by these wheels you choose.

While the stock hubcaps are plain, I can't imagine a 68 with wire wheels. Send pics once you get them. I'd like to see it.

Dan,
If you want to see how a slab-side Lincoln looks with wire wheels, look on E-bay Motors for a 1964 convertible from DFW area. What do you think? I'll withhold my opinion.
Leon PS Its only going to be on the auction for a few more days.
