Happy Thanksgiving

This is the nice, warm place where the bestest of friends discuss topics that are not about Lincolns, because not everything can be about Lincolns.

Happy Thanksgiving

Post by Steve K »

Happy Thanksgiving to TLF members far and wide. No matter where you are and whether you celebrate Thanksgiving Day for the same reason most of us do, we can all be thankful for the friendships and comradery made possible by this forum.

Have a great day and if you eat turkey and watch football, may your meal be wonderful and may your team prevail!

This forum may have been blocked because some people turn into assholes when they aren’t talking about cars. I wanted everyone to see the message.

We do have the tendency to be judgmental even when talking about cars. We forget that none of us are professionals, we just remember what we've done to our own cars when we faced similar situations. We also like to get carried away with a bit of humor and memories. Somehow the post about Blackwood Springs got carried away into a cemetery. We really do care for each other. I've seen that firsthand, even though we may never have met.

No idea what happened in that thread. The OP came back the day after he registered, posted, and never returned.

Perhaps I should apologize for that seemingly innocent "new subdivision" comment, but I'm really not sorry, it was a fun ride! But back on topic, best wishes for the remaining holiday season to all!

I, too, thought Blackwood Springs was a suburb of Florida.

That’s thread is locked now. OP’s account was deleted since he didn’t meet the rules for posting 3x in 30 days.

Also, my hunch he was a spammer may have scared him off as thin-skinned or upped his jig.
The checked his name online and it led to a business. He was not likely legit.
