Perfect Circle cruise control servo schematic ?

Post by Tmiller6 »

Back in the early eighties before digital cameras,I opened my Perfect Circle cruise control servo, the one under the hood, and may not have reconnected the wires correctly.

Is there any documentation as to how it should be wired inside?

This is from the '61 manual, it is much better than anything in the '66, but I don't know how much your '65 manual shows.

The '66 has two schematics, one in the speed control section and one at the back, with the other schematics, and they are not the same. If your '65 manual has both, combining them helps.

Also, did you confirm the brake relay is working? If it fails open, nothing will work.

Thank you Mr. Noble!

This is precisely what I’m looking for. My ‘65 manual has a small schematic representing the innards much like they simplify the alternator. This should get me on the right track.

I have the column and brake booster out so I have plenty of room to check the circuits and switches under dash.
