Hi,
I’m trying to get some touch-up and spray paint for my newly acquired ‘69 Mark. It’s “gold” but I’m getting some conflicting information and can’t get a touch up match on paint code “Y”.
Does anyone else have the same color?
Thanks
Bob

Could it have been Burnt Orange, and somebody (thankfully) changed it?
It also wouldn’t be the first time there was an error on a data plate.

If you have an early ‘69 build, the ‘68 colors were used. Little bit confusing since a there was never a ‘68 Mark III, but that is how it was done. There is a separate color sample page because of this.

Ah, Chancery Gold. Good sleuthing, Nick. I didn’t suspect that.

Ok, the million dollar question answered! Thank you for the reply. I just found out my car was made in the 1st month of production. First year, first month and hopefully on a Friday. What could possibly go wrong?
With that, now I can come up with a match.
