Thanks for the feedback Jessie. Although I'm not against talking about them I'd need to find guests who are experts. I'm a fan of 61-67 and that is mostly what I know about. Its kind of like asking John Cashman to work on a newer car... like he said on the podcast he knows 61-67. I will def keep this in mind. There is a local guy that has a lowrider 70s Lincoln. I'm not against having guests on that can touch upon these other classics. Podcasting is great as you get to talk about what you love. I very much appreciate the comment and you tuning in!

Ep. 12 is now posted. Ep. 11 was several weeks back and I spoke about buying tips for '60 era Lincolns. If I missed anything on Ep. 11 let me know and I'll do another later this year!

Ep. 12 features Nathan Wilson from Driving Dreams Restorations. Check out his YouTube channel here: http://bit.ly/2OfxOJq - I also touch on updates for Project Smuggler's Blues which is my '64 Lincoln. I recently had another challenge with it and I'm pressing ahead!

I uploaded Ep. 19 yesterday evening - "Lincoln Continental for 1965" which ties into the day the '65 Lincoln introduction date of September 26, 1964 (posted the episode on 9.26.1964). I also make a big announcement on the episode which will tie into future episodes of the podcast and my YouTube Channel. Many facts came right from this amazing website: http://automotivemileposts.com/lincoln/ ... ions.shtml

Ver-r-r-r-r-ry intereth-ting... Now, everybody here knows that I'm no advocate of that kind of tricking out for these cars, partially because such conversions are usually botched by the converters who fail to factor in a lot of critical points, such as potential twisting of the rear axles by ditching the leaf springs, or the load-bearing ratings of the weird wheels they toss on, just as for-instances. That said, however, I'm thinking that if anyone is well-versed on how to convert these cars carefully and properly, and thoroughly, MobSteel is. I have always liked their logo, I'll admit.

One day I'll have to check those podcasts, when I finally have sound in my computer again.

Tony, I don’t understand this part, can you explain? I’m not sure I follow how one could twist an axel in one of these cars, but I’m the first to say I’m no expert.

Are you saying if you had enough horsepower, and a non-leaf spring suspension (probably a 4-link), and sticky enough tires, the car would hook up hard enough at some kind of drag race power launch to twist them? Where-as if you had leaf springs in that same situation they would spring wrap and the tires would break loose (and probably wheel hop) thus not creating enough torque to twist an axel? Not sure I’ve seen many Continentals with that kind of power to where that would be an issue.

Or is there another way an axel could twist?

Just trying to understand

Ep. 27 of Lincoln Addict Podcast was published today. Here I cover LBJ's 1964 Lincoln Continental based upon researching I had completed. The car is for sale now which made for good timing for me to release this episode. Ep. 27 should be available all channels soon. RIght now you can listen on the web or via the Podbean app. Link to LBJ's Lincoln Continental convertible - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964- ... rtible-12/
