Patching and colouring carpet

Trunk floor mat had a few extra holes and flaws in the texture.

I patched it with pieces taken from sparetire cover that i do not need. Oddly it was not exactly same colour than the floor? Behind the patch I glued strong fabric with contact cement.

After repair I tried some colourin methods and found FurnitureClinic FabriColour that really worked. It took only 13 € and one hour of work to make it black again.
