Did I blow it up?

thank you for the ideas. This will give me a starting point. I really hate to do a timing chain replacement. May be easier to put a "FOR SALE" sign on it. hehehe

Did I blow it up?

I was running the engine in the yard...just warming it up. It needs a tune up (the works). It started to chug a little like it was going to stall out so I gave it some gas. Started to come back then stall then I really gave it some gas to save it from stalling then...BLAM! [img]images/smiles/icon_ee...

Yes...the headlights open within five minutes of turning off the car. I tried to listen for a vacuum leak. But I dont hear anything. How do you check those cans? Are they located underneth the door assembly? I didnt give the exhaust system much thought. I thought I would just run it down to the loca...

Power Window Safety Relay

Maybe thats why my windows wont work. The back ones went real slow but worked up until the other day. Then they worked again for a few minutes(the next day) then stopped again (in the open position ) Could this be the cause of my window troubles? It seems also w...

There was a MarkIII they destroyed in the second (i think) Gumball Rally movie. Circa 1976 or so.
And lets not forget William Conrads MarkIV in Cannon.

Project Update w/ Linl to pics

Hey Dan....no it is all spit and elbow grease. The car was rear ended in 71 after that the original owner was not happy with it so purchased a MarkIV. That is how my father in law got it. That is the only body work that was done on it. If you look close on the the rear end you can see the bumper is ...

My Mark III is home

I am happy to hear you made out OK. I picked up a 70 at the beginning of the summer that was sitting since 1980. I just now got it where I can drive it. The body and interior cleaned up great.the mechanics are my headache. Good luck and enjoy
