What the heck is a carotid Ford? All I found was articles about heart disease when I searched.

Re: Second opinion. 462 rebuild?
Head gaskets are pretty easy with a hoist to remove as long as you either disconnect the exhaust manifolds at the pipe or the head. Just pay attention to the direction they are installed as they are directional and cover a water jacket port in on direction to control flow. I vote for keeping the 462...

Re: '62 - Buzzing Relays when Rear Doors Open
There’s a resistance issue in the activating switch, the relay, or the battery isn’t charged enough. Relays buzz when there’s enough voltage for the coil to pull them in, but that tiny change in current drops the voltage enough for them to drop out. There could also be a short somewhere. Do all door...

Re: 1966 Lincoln Continental 2 door circuit breaker location
12V from the relays doesn't mean they're good unless you're drawing the motor load. Open circuit voltage isn't enough if the contacts have high resistance. Jumper the motors direct to battery in both directions to test them. Bad continuity on a motor could mean open windings or terribly worn brushes.

Re: 67 sedan needs parts
Hello, I’m Austin in California. I found a 67 Continental sedan at a pick-a-part yard recently. ( Unfortunately I can’t buy the whole thing. ) I found this forum to help others who may need parts. Are offering to part out and sell parts to those in need? Your title says you NEED parts. Please clari...

Grease doesn’t seal against air leaks. That’s silly.

Please start a thread for that, Nick, and post a link to it from here. I'm moving this from "wanted" so it's not deleted by the deleter-bots.

Re: Accelerator (gas) pedal
Here is a photo of what it says when i try to order. Also that 2040 site is super glitchy and kinda weird/sketch. If I could order it I’d probably just risk it, but it won’t let me. The site has terrible add placement that looks like it's part of the ordering page. I'd try contacting them or keep l...

Re: door wont stay shut.
What happens when you lock the latch using a screw driver with the door open? Can you pull the latches open? Do they actually latch or latch loosely? You're not going to solve this without removing the mechanism. All the action is happening inside the door. 63link never followed up. He was last here...

Re: Accelerator (gas) pedal
However, this pedal is found in the 65-66 MPC! And it's the same for all 1962-69s!
Used, but $100 plus shipping is worth it.- Thu May 02, 2024 1:17 pm

According to the 66-72 MPC, this part doesn't exist for D, Lincoln Continental:1Bad55Chevy wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 12:10 pm https://www.2040-parts.com/used-61-62-6 ... -i2024855/

Nice.
Now what is this phone/cb combo and why haven’t I heard of it? Looks like I have some googling to do.
