Re: Converting fuse block to newer blade type
I do not recommend changing the fuses for fuses sake.

Re: 1966 heater hose fitting
Here’s some info about 67 and 68 which had a one port heater junction. The second port was moved to the heater valve (which became a three port).

Here’s another heater valve thread with a pic.

Re: 1966 heater hose fitting
66s used a double ported junction. At least the five or six I have worked on did.
I think I called it the heater junction. It is designed to scoop up the coolant flowing through the intake and send it to the heater valve.
The most common failure is tube rot and pickup rot.

If there is a 68 or 69 coupe kit, you could combine and make your own.
And I don’t think there is.

Re: 73 Lincoln Continental - horn problem
You can jumper the harness to see if the wiring from the relay to the horns is good.
Post a pic of the relay.

Re: 73 Lincoln Continental - horn problem
The relay doesn’t disable cruise. The horn switch does. The horn grounds the (unlabeled) off contact of the cruise control switch.
I had a car with the cruise control wires disconnected and the horn didn’t work. This was why.

Re: 73 Lincoln Continental - horn problem
As promised. Ignore the markups. I think that is a hack to fix the flickering interior indicators. IMG_6305.jpeg IMG_6306.jpeg The full schematics are on like 32 X 17” pages. It is a glorious schematic set and covers all 1973 Fords. I need to take pictures of all the lincoln pages before I sell it. ...

Re: 73 Lincoln Continental - horn problem
I have found the horn schematics. Please stand by for a picture of the wiring schematics.
Just so you know, the horn will never be fused. At best, it has a circuit breaker on it.

Re: 73 Lincoln Continental - horn problem
I have paper copies of the 73 schematics, but I cannot find any scans of them.
I will post the Horn schematics if I can find the paper copy.
First, I ask you to jumper 12V directly to the horn to verify the horns themselves work (2 or 3 of them).

Re: 1966 Rear wheel Wobble.
Forgive me, but what advantage would switching out the ring from the biggest 9-3/8" to a 9" gain except to use a ratio not available as stock or maybe service parts?
The 9-3/8 is indestructible.

Re: 1966 Rear wheel Wobble.
Axles and rims get damaged when they run sideways into curbs and other obstacles. They’re pretty easy to check.
You don’t need to remove any drum brake hardware to check the axle runout.
You said rotor. A 66 with rear discs?
