Re: Removing Electrical motor windows - Antenna - Radio - Weather Strips
Hello Elvis, I'm not sure if these are what you are looking for regarding the weather strips. Repops is the company that makes them, and they list the LN110R for your model. Jegs was the cheapest I saw when doing a quick search for you now, and they were the cheapest when I purchased mine for the 69...

Re: Mark Lower Control Arm Compatability
Following up on this, I ended up getting one from ebay, off of a 77 Cougar. No issues with fitment whatsoever. I've never been a fan of press-in ball joints so that's my only minor complaint. We're doing a bit more front end cleanup and paint with the steering and front suspension completely off of ...

Re: 1965 Brake Booster and Master Cylinder - no O-ring
I removed the master cylinder from out 69 Mark last night to clean it up and bend some new brake tubing. Ours looks to be the same design with a less pronounced weep channel (no idea if it's original or not). Ours did not have an oring on either the shaft or the exterior rear of the master cylinder....

Re: Mark iii "loose" rear axle
That socket idea to keep the arm from bending/crushing is a great idea. That will definitely come in handy in the near future when we do ours!

Re: Mark Lower Control Arm Compatability
Thanks for the responses guys, I appreciate it very much. We (teen/tween boys and I) have the entirety of the front suspension and steering removed right now to replace every rubber component, ball joints, etc, and apply some paint. The strut rods both seem perfectly straight, but the bushings on th...

Mark Lower Control Arm Compatability
Evening all, in removing the passenger side lower control arm this evening from our early 69 we found the lower rear portion underside to be taco'd over so far I could not get a socket on the shock bolt. As you can see in the picture, it appears that a previous owner had it in reverse and hit someth...

Re: Cruise Control Speed Servo Control Components
Well, I managed to find a NOS Jaguar bellows and endcap on ebay for about the price of the Mark III bellows by themselves. The seller measured the bellows to be about 3.5" which is about what I measured the one on the Mark III to be. Hopefully it works out. If not, I'll just attempt to recoup s...

Re: Cruise Control Speed Servo Control Components
Thank for you for the prompt response, it is very helpful. I suppose a picture definitely would have helped explain what I was trying to explain. A lot of internet results are coming up for Jaguar's similar part too. I'm wondering if it would not be too difficult to mount up one from another vehicle...

Replacing the top on our 69 is on our project list. I had this supplier saved but have not ordered one from anywhere yet:

Cruise Control Speed Servo Control Components
Hello all, I've been lurking here for a while since we purchased an early 69 Mark III. The frame is in great condition, body in good condition, but it had been sitting in a concrete parking garage since 2007. My boys and I have a lot of work cut out for us. I've been able to find quite a bit of the ...

Re: Search Engine limited to 4 characters minimum.
All, as a possible workaround you can type something like this into your address bar to perform a search for shorter search terms: pcv site:thelincolnforum.net tvs site:thelincolnforum.net Just type whatever it is you want to search for followed by one space, then site:thelincolnforum.net I hope thi...

Re: MUST READ: New Users must post within 30 days or be deleted
Morning all, just picked up a 69 Mk3 project with 78k miles from Facebook Marketplace yesterday. I've got two kids in their early teens, so this will be a family project they'll eventually be able to drive. Looks like the vacuum system is the first challenge, as there are disconnected hoses all over...
