It was no problem at all actually. They had them in stock. The one they suggested the first time was the correct one. I ordered one today and it will arrive tomorrow.

Sealed beam question
My driver side left sealed beam light went black. At the shop where I get my parts they claim that this light consist of both high and low beam?? Aren´t the outer lights low beam and the inner high beam? Hope you understand what I´m trying to explain!

Re: Need new battery
I was thinking, if you use a trickle charger on a wet battery you need to keep it open of course. Won´t the battery acid boil away? One Winner in battery best in test was the Banner Powerbull a battery I never Heard of from Austria. It says only for cars from 1997?? Bosch, Tudor and Varta was also p...

Re: Need new battery
What kind of battery do you think will suite a "summercar" the most. Mine is sitting during the winter at least 5 months a year. Even at summertime the car can be sitting for 2-3 weeks depending on weather. I often tend to forget to connect my tricklecharger when the car sits for a couple ...

So I charged my battery and drove the car outside in the snow because I needed the space in the garage for a couple of days. When I was about to drive it inside again the battery was almost dead. I checked the battery with my Ctek charger and it was gone! Now I need a new battery but I am not to sur...

Small garage vs 1977 Town car
Don´t do what i did yesterday :shifty: I got to far to the right entering my garage and when I tried to correct it I got even more stuck. I decided not to try anymore and solve it in another way. My idea was to raise it on two jackstands and push the car to the left. When I raised the side by the pi...

New muffler install
It was a while ago since I was here. Since then I replaced the stock muffler with a 50 series Flowmaster Delta force. I gutted the cats and removed the resonator. It turned out ok but I´m still not really happy about the result. I wanted a much deeper and more rumbling sound and inside the car I can...

Re: Gasket between manifold and cat?
Ok! I'll probably try it next week. I will let you know what happens. Btw the idea is to remove the cats for better sound. I doubt that it will be enough though. If not im thinking a flowmaster delta flow 50 series.

Re: Gasket between manifold and cat?
but there were no gasket?? Or did i misunderstood?Dan Szwarc wrote:They were not designed to be removed or separated. No gasket is a metal-to-metal interface. It usually only seals up when the parts are both brand new. After that, all bets are off.
Go ahead. Take yours apart and show us the gasket.
