Re: the 2nd craziest Continental project ever!!

Looking forward to seeing more of your work. I'm sure you checked but a reminder that the wheel base on that 67 is 3 inches longer than your 62. I know you moded your fenders on the 62, but with all the room up front lengthening the TC frame between the firewall and cross member would be a lot easie...

Re: 62 Convertible Airbag Setups

I didn't want all my limited trunk space taken up with my system so I got two 2.5 gallon tanks and mounted them in the front fenders between the wheel and the front bumper. Lots of room there on my 66. Not done with the install yet but considering putting the pump and valves on the passenger side be...

Re: 63 Convertible 4.6 Build

Glad your back. I don't remember if I offered or not, but I have those brackets I made to lower the bottom strut mount that I am not going to use. I think there is a pic of them somewhere on my build. Back to the point if you want them they are yours, I will be in Winchester, VA this weekend if that...

Cut the floor and got the two piece drive shaft mocked up. Now a trip to the shop to have a shaft made. http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r486/bradaxwe/P8050043_zpse9nxsnyk.jpg http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r486/bradaxwe/P8050042_zpsc7g3qbnv.jpg http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r486/brada...

Re: 1967 Floor pans

There are some amazing epoxies out there, but I think with all the flexing of the uni-body it would be a bad idea. I live in Lyndon if you can set your seat in enough to drive it I can weld it for you, unless you have a 220 plug in your garage for my welder. Nice to see another LCC so close, I would...

Re: 1966 LCC resto-mod conversion

So after much research and looking through craigslist etc I am on track for the rear end. Seems the Ford f150 9inch is the same width as my narrowed 8.8 and for 3 model years (80-82)they made a F100 with the 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern. So I have a set of used axles in the mail to me now and found a guy w...

Re: Cost of putting a modern motor in a suicide-door Lincoln

These swaps are done out of the challenge or just to have something one of kind, there is nothing economical about it. Doing all the work myself I stil have spent about 25k on parts and errors, i.e. the 8.8 inch rear end. When it is done I am going to love all the modern benefits of the modular driv...
