Re: 66 Continental Brake System Investigation
When are we getting a tour of this shop?? By the looks of it I couldn't afford the sink even if I sold everything I owned!

Good heavens, even the Army would not fund an auto-skill center that good-looking! Not on Fort Sam, anyway.

Re: 66 Continental Brake System Investigation
My wife says i have a problem, I am too detail oriented!!! Lmao!!! Seriously, after playing in this car hobby for almost 50 years, i have learned that if you want something done right you have to do it yourself! So over the years i have learned how to do many chores, tasks, projects etc. but in order to do all these tasks you need special tools!! So if you have special tools, they have to be stored somewhere!! So i need a well organized shop! At least thats what I tell my wife!! Lol.
I would sooner spend the money on a tool to learn how to performa new skill, than pay someone to do it, but then have to worry about if it was done properly... Steve

That is NICE! I love the stained concrete floors in it. I should come down there and work in it for a week... I would have so much oil dry scattered on the floor you would be sweeping it up for years!
There should be a thread where we post shop pictures and tools...

Re: 66 Continental Brake System Investigation
Not to be a wet blanket. but my brother is still working on Zephyrs in his very nice shop. He doesn't like anyone to take pictures. We started in my garage 30 or more years ago, until he built his, and we thought my garage was something else. It was really dooded up right after I got my 63 in 1990. Now it is just a messy old, dark, garage. Oh well, life happens.

I detailed the crap out of my 66’s engine bay. It’s worth every minute.
