The clips you speak of sound like the back seat, not the dash.

so its just a matter of taking out those screws and it lifts up ?

Click to enlarge the picture I posted earlier, 4 holes along the top, 4 tabs along the bottom, and 3 around the instrument area, if you find any more, remove them too. You may be able to change the speaker through the glovebox hole after removing the liner, but that may be harder.

Did this this weekend. Easier than i thought - few bolts around but pretty straight forward. Fraser your picture helped a lot thanks.
