63 mystery parts
I have finished the restoration of my 63, but am not sure where these go on the bottom of the car. I think they hold the emergency brake cables? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 63 mystery parts
They hold the cables up, I think one end goes into a hole in the trailing arm, the other just hooks around the cable, but my car is 30 miles away, and I haven't looked recently.
After a full rebuild, that's all you have left over? I have more leftover parts when I do a tune up!

Re: 63 mystery parts
When we were done with my paint job, and were reassembling, we found these rather large, lop-sided washers. Had no idea. Not labeled. Turns out they belonged on the front bumper bolts. I suspect the most commonly lost and replaced part is the wingnut on the air cleaner. Second most lost and replaced is the wingnut behind the steering wheel. Wayne
