Anyone going to the LCOC events this year?

Post by Stuart M. Cohen »

So I decided that I'll be driving to both shows this year; the national event at the Gilmour and the ENM in Morgantown, PA. Morgantown is only a few hours from me. All the paperwork isn't on the site yet, but the ENM forms are.

So, It looks like I'll put some miles on the car this year!

Leaving Wednesday morning for Kalamazoo. Got an appointment for a detail when I get there and was contacted by the social media team of Lincoln's advertizing company to do a shoot on Saturday. They got approval to pull cars off the showfield and will take pictures for their on line ad campaingn. Had some shots done at the New Hampshire meet in 2018, so should be fun.

Tippecanoe and Kalamazoo!

I’ll be there. I’m not registered as a guest nor my staying overnight. I’m looking forward to seeing Stu again. Anyone else who has my contact information can text me or call me and we can hook up.

We're gonna lay low this year...both vaccinated, but somewhat concerned about breakthough infections. Wayne

Good few days in Kalamazoo. Nice road trip to the winery and the show Saturday was nice. Since it was not a judged show, It was much more relaxed. Good to catch up with some people, and as usual, met some new people.

Uneventual trip out. As of Thursday night when we got there, 825 miles, averaging 11.8 MPG.

Didn't take many pictures, but I did get this one.

Got home tonight and no problems on the trip. It was really good to see some old friends and meet new ones. Didn't spend much time in the different museums since it was third or fourth time there. Did see W. C. Fields' Lincoln, pretty cool original car. Some really pretty early 20's to early 30's cars there. Luckily for me, no garage space.....

1841 miles, 140.4 gals, 13.1 MPG.

I didn't take any pictures (pretty much just sat on my a$$ by the car), but I know Jim Ayres did and they're probably on his website.

Next trip - Morgantown.

See ya' there!

Got back last night and had a good time. It was nice to see people we haven't seen in a few years and meet new people. 72 total cars, 60 judged. Ended up being inside. Posted a few pictures I tood on the trip on my site.

Done for the year; next trip - Palm Springs.
