Vent Window Question

According to my research, the mini-vent windows were not available until 1972 on sedans and not on coupes until 1975. Can anyone corroberate this? Does anyone have a 1970-74 coupe with vent windows?

Some people have said that Town Cars had them, but I don't think this was always true in the early years.

Hi Dan,

do you have the Book "The Lincoln Story - The Postwar Years" bs Thomas E. Bondall?
It says that the new Town Car option was introduced in January 72.
This included the mini vents and other stuff.

So it could be that there are two different Continental Town Cars.
The earlier ones have just the leather option and the later ones have the new option with more features like the mini vents.

i can confirm, 72 1/2 when the town car option reappeared was when they came back with the vent windows, prior to that, none. Lorelei doesnt have them. As far as i know, there was no continental option for early 72s

I didnt know that about the coupes not having the vent windows though

I just bought a 76 Base Coupe and it has no vent windows
