Re: 1974 headlight switch
If the vacuum actuators to the headlamps are rusted on the bottom, you could have a pinhole leak. Clamp and isolate each lower vacuum line near the motor to see if you can isolate the leak. Do the same with the vacuum tank.

Re: Maximum Size of inline images!
This forum re-dates the iPhone and smart phones in general and image editing is lost on many. Luckily, we don't get too many complaints from the die hard fans and stragglers who come around nowadays. Thanks for posting your images. Your participation is appreciated. However, I see you are linking to...

Re: 1974 headlight switch
Hissing from the switch is obviously a leak.
Look for Either D2VY-11654-B or D5VY-11654-A without Auto dimmer.
There may be a D4VY PN, but the MPCs don't list them.
When you pull the switch, try to get a PN off it.

462 short block for rebuild
Free. Pickup only. Metro Detroit area. Comes with some head bolts. Can hoist into your truck.
One piston stuck inside. No crank. No camshaft. I might have the bearing caps but I’m not looking unless someone wants it.

Re: 1974 headlight switch
Hold off on replacing the switch. The check valve is located in the top of the vacuum tree at the firewall. The headlamp feed is the top one and goes to a tee. Start the car, pinch off the line at the vacuum tree while car is running and then close and turn off the car with the headlamps off. Do the...

Re: wingless' 1975 Mark IV - Custom Car Cover
This is fine. He found a cover he likes and he wants to share. I see no commission info in his links.
I am impressed with the stretch fit vs. the blobby, generic fit of the covers I've seen.
